For peace of mind, we handle all of the details so you don't have to. All caregivers have passed extensive criminal background, abuse registry, and reference checks. We conduct ongoing drug and health screenings.
More than just “sitters,” our caregivers are trained, motivated, caring individuals. Their job is to provide the personal attention your family member needs and deserves. They can assist with routine household chores and help maintain a sense of balance and control in the person’s life; thereby, relieving you from the worry and time-consuming responsibilities so you can go back to living a more normal life.
Non-Medical At-Home Services
At your request, John Knox @ Home will make a house call to determine the needs, then develop a service plan, and match those needs to our staff of caregivers. Services provided by John Knox @ Home companions include but are not limited to:
- Safety observations
- Social interactions
- Transport for Appointments and Errands
- As-needed personal assistance with Bathing, Dressing, Grooming, Hygiene, Mobility, etc.
- Meal Preparation
- Medication reminders (MOT)
- Changing of Bed Linens and Laundry
- Light housekeeping
- Hospital-Stay Assistance
